As Nigeria prepares for the 2023 general elections, renowned lawyer, rapper, and activist, Folarin Falana, popularly known by his stage name as ‘Falz The Bhad Guy’, has come out to share his thoughts on the candidates currently in the race to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari as the nation’s next Commander in Chief.
Speaking during an interview on ARISE NEWS a few hours ago, Falana, who was one of the main faces of the EndSARS protests two years ago, stated that though he is yet to have a preferred aspirant in mind, he would, however, not be supporting any presidential candidate that represents the old system responsible for ruining the country. Going further, Falana insisted any of the presidential aspirants that have in one way or the other contributed to the rot in the Nigerian system should not expect support from him.
“At this very moment, I cannot say that this or that person is my candidate. But what I can say for sure is that I have always vocalized that I am in no way in support of the same old system that has brought about this rot. So, anyone coming from this same old system knows for sure that I am not going to vote for them,” he said.
