Oshiomhole’s Leadership Takes Center Stage As APC Hosts Victory Party at Iyamho, Leaving Arise TV In The Dust

Celebrations have been taking place in all three senatorial districts, with Edo North likely serving as the grand finale. Oshiomhole, the chief host of the event, played a pivotal role in the success of Senator Monday Okpebholo and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa. From the moment Oshiomhole personally congratulated Senator Okpebholo as the APC candidate, it was clear that the dynamics of the campaign had shifted.

Oshiomhole leveraged his widespread popularity to promote Senator Okpebholo, a man known for his remarkable humility—so much so that many mistake his modesty for shyness.

Oshiomhole is adored by the masses, while the few who oppose him are mostly elites who, in turn, have misled their followers into believing he is merely a political godfather. Their resentment stems from the fact that they can never command the same level of love and admiration that Oshiomhole enjoys.

In Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole enjoys a level of admiration similar to that of President Buhari in the northern regions of Nigeria. Despite any criticisms or controversies surrounding him, the people on the streets hold a deep and unwavering affection for Oshiomhole.

Adams Oshiomhole has an incredible energy that lights up the streets wherever he goes, getting the crowd excited no matter if an election is coming up or not. He knows how to use this amazing vibe to rally support. After all, who wouldn’t want to take advantage of such a strong connection with the people?

While his critics hide behind social media, calling him names like “demon,” Oshiomhole is out there, warmly welcomed by the public. The loud cheers he receives show just how much love and admiration people have for him—something that his opponents can only wish for. His ability to truly connect with people makes him a special figure in politics, and those who have seen his hard work and dedication appreciate him all the more.

When the Arise TV anchor was busy accusing Okpebholo of demanding a million dollars to appear on their biased show, it was simply because I had jokingly said that if Rufai Oseni wanted to use our candidate for clout and traffic, he might as well pay a million dollars. I even clarified that our candidate’s appearance wasn’t for sale, but if they could afford it, any proceeds would be donated to charity—something Okpebholo regularly does through his humanitarian efforts.

Yet, while Arise TV was busy concocting narratives for ratings, Oshiomhole, Okpebholo, and other formidable APC leaders were busy in the trenches, engaging with the people directly. The crowd at every rally I attended was ecstatic. People were overheard stating…, “No be the man wey dem say no dey talk, dey talk so?” This grassroots approach resonated deeply with the electorate, and the strategy paid off in full.

Oshiomhole led by example, pointing to visible achievements and legacies at every campaign stop. In contrast, Obaseki couldn’t even step forward to campaign for Asue Ighodalo. The market traders, who have suffered under Obaseki’s harsh policies, are a prime example of his failures.

One of the most heartbreaking cases involves a woman who tragically lost her life after being sent to jail, where she gave birth to twins. She was imprisoned simply because she couldn’t pay the ₦20,000 market fine imposed by Obaseki’s administration. This devastating incident highlights a profound contrast in leadership and its real-life implications.

At each market stop, the traders erupted in shouts and cheers when Oshiomhole introduced Okpebholo to them. Their affection was genuine and heartfelt. At one point, Oshiomhole asked the crowd, “Do you know me?” and they responded in unison, “Adams Oshiomhole!” “Oshio Baba” The energy of the moment was nothing short of electrifying.

Oshiomhole truly deserves all the accolades and recognition for his unwavering dedication and commitment. He has poured his heart into his work, standing strong through every challenge. Today is a day for celebration! May God bless everyone making their way to Oshiomhole’s country home with a safe journey. Amen.
