Davido And Sophia Momodu Saga: Matters Arising.
The question of Sophia being a gold digger, is completely out of the equation. Their relationship happened about a decade ago and Davido wasn’t as blown and loaded as he is today. To the credit of Sophia, Davido hadn’t mentioned to any mortal that, Sophia forced him into the relationship they had. And when it happened, Davido was already an adult with the capacity of knowing exactly what he wanted.
Irrespective of how well Sophia disguised to hide her true age, me thinks Davido fell for true love as at then, the age difference not withstanding. Differently put, it was a relationship between two willing adults.I do not buy the Davido story of being deceived by Sophia, but yes, it’s possible that, ab initio, he he knew he wasn’t ever going to settle down with her permanently, irrespective of the fact that, he needed her body again and again. Sophia may have kept Imade pregnancy to keep Davido for life but, unfortunately, she gained the pregnancy and lost Davido. However, for anyone to insinuate that, she is using Imade to extort Davido and his family, is a no no for me.
Davido is a big brand and this should reflect in everything that he had his hands in, and that of course, includes Imade. For crying out loud, Davido is now a married man and a very busy one for that matter. His wife, Chioma has her twin kids to worry about and care for. Why the desperation to strip Sophia ‘naked’ by removing Imade from her? That for me, remains her only joy for now. Her only complain is that, Davido should adequately provide for Imade.
For me, this is a legitimate call as long as it does not make Davido break a bank. Moderation is the rule.
