Edo APC Youth League Lambasts Obaseki For Postponing School Resumption Indefinitely
The Edo APC Youth League has strongly criticized Governor Godwin Obaseki for postponing the resumption of schools for what they believe are selfish reasons.
In a statement released by the league coordinator in Edo State, Jimoh Muhammed Rafiq, who is popularly known as Prince Raf, the governor was called out for his decision to indefinitely delay the reopening of schools.
Prince Raf described Governor Obaseki as selfish and wicked for putting the education of students at risk for his own personal gain. The league believes that the governor’s actions are motivated by self-interest rather than the well-being of the children in the state.
The Edo APC Youth League is adamant in its stance that the postponement of school resumption is unjustifiable and is only serving to further harm the education system in the state. The league is calling on Governor Obaseki to let the school resume saying that it won’t stop his party defeat in Saturday Governorship election in the state
