EDO PEOPLE UNITE AGAINST FAILED OBASEKI ADMINISTRATION AT APC MEGA RALLY
The University of Benin Sports Complex was electrified as thousands of Edo residents gathered at the APC Mega Rally/Grand Finale, sending a resounding message of rejection to Governor Godwin Obaseki’s administration. Chants of “Enough is Enough!” and “our mumu done do !” echoed through the air, as speaker after speaker lamented the state’s decline under Obaseki’s leadership.
The crowd, comprising people from all walks of life, expressed frustration over unfulfilled promises, neglected infrastructure, and economic stagnation. Vice President Sen. Kashim Shettima, Senate President Sen. Godswill Akpabio, and other APC leaders hailed the courage and determination of Edo people in rejecting a failed government.
Senator Monday Okpebholo and Rt. Hon Dennis Idahosa, the APC flag bearers, pledged to revamp the state’s economy, fix dilapidated infrastructure, and restore hope to the people.
As the rally drew to a close, the message was clear: Edo people demand change and will not settle for another failed administration.
