EFCC Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa Has Been Suspended From Office Indefinitely.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has suspended the Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, AbdulRasheed Bawa, indefinitely from office.

According to him, this is to allow for a thorough investigation into his tenure while in office as a result of “weighty allegations ” of abuse of office leveled against the chairman.

The suspension was contained in a statement by the Director of Information, in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Willie Bassey, on Wednesday.
