Emomotimi Agama: “Every third Nigerian uses cryptocurrencies”
The Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Nigeria stated that 33% of the country’s residents regularly use virtual assets.
The official predicts that Nigeria’s crypto market will grow to $52.5 million by 2028.“Cryptocurrency transactions reduce the cost of transfers for citizens without access to banking services, which exceeds 38 million people.”
