Evang. Obi, a prominent figure in the Nigerian gospel circle has defended his reason for maintaining separate apartment from his wife as strictly religious and for the sake of purity and dedication.

Obi further explained that living apart from his wife would enable them to focus on their individual spiritual growth and maintain a deeper connection with God.

He believes that this arrangement aligns with biblical principles of holiness and sanctification within marriage. “By maintaining separate residences, we can dedicate ourselves fully to serving God and each other in a manner that is pleasing to Him,” Obi elaborated
