I Would Have Won The Osun 2022 Guber Poll Hands Down If I Was The PDP Candidate – Dotun Babayemi

A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and aspirant during the recent Governorship election in Osun state, Mr Dotun Babayemi, has declared that he would have won the state’s 2022 Gubernatorial poll hands down, if he was the candidate of the party (Punch).

Babayemi who made this declaration recently, in an interview while speaking on his lawsuit against the PDP candidate and the Osun Governor-elect, Ademola Adeleke, as well as his (Babayemi) expulsion from the party, argued that the people of the state had already made up their minds even before the election, due to the visible hardship they faced under the APC rule and as such, he would have easily won the poll.

In his words; “in politics I think I have gone through the crucibles and I understand the positive lines long before the July 16 governorship election. That is why I said earlier that the party’s victory is for the people. Against that background, I would have won hands down because people’s minds were already made up due to the excruciating pains, they have variously experienced under the APC administration in the state”.
