The President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, will receive the certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Wednesday in the afternoon.
At the National Collation Centre in Abuja on February 25, the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, announced that the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate had won the poll.
He stated that the ceremony would take place in Abuja at 3:00 pm.
After defeating Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and 16 other candidates in the election, Tinubu was declared the new president of Nigeria.
He received 8,794, 726 votes, compared to 6,984, 520 votes for the PDP candidate.
The duo of Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) got 6,111, 533, and 1,496, 687 votes respectively.
