Brazilian international and former Ajax Amsterdam dazzler, Antony Dos Santos was handed his debut yesterday for Manchester United which was his first appearance as a Red Devils player since his arrival at the Old Trafford few days ago.
The 22 year old football talent was able to make his landmark as he kick started his career at the club by netting a debut goal which was enough to give them the lead going into the second half and was as such instrumental in the crucial win.
The prolific winger with his debut in the game became the 100th Brazilian to appear in the Premier League and was the youngest player from the nation to score on his debut in the competition at age 22 years and 192 days.
His debut goal in the keenly contested encounter has now made him the first player to score a first half goal against the Mikel Arteta’s side in the English Premier League this season, and he was able to do so just 35 minutes into his EPL debut.
He will be hoping to keep the tempo going for his team in their next game as they continue their pursuit in the competition having proved to have properly settled into the team with all enthusiasm to represent the club clearly seen after putting his side ahead.
