It is confirmed. Having consulted widely, it is now in the public space that, the management of Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU Ile-Ife, Osun State, has appointed Professor Adebayo Simeon Bamire as its new substantive Vice-Chancellor.
The appointment, according to Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Owelle Oscar Udoji, takes effect from June 7, 2022.
