A former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has told governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, that the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, was not against him.
Fayose, who spoke today in Rivers State, said Atiku and Wike were allies after the Presidential primary election of the PDP. According to him, Atiku and Wike had mutual conversation, a day after the primary election had taken place, and nothing went wrong untill now. Fayose, who spoke about the cause of the political feud between the two PDP bigwigs, indirectly said a lot of people, who surround Atiku, are his enemies.
Fayose, who also spoke about why these purported enemies had been against Wike, said the Rivers governor’s capacity caused it. He noted that Wike should not be sidelined, as the Rivers governor was the soul of the PDP. He mentioned that the party could do better than what it had done.
