Nigeria is having an impressive first half in their second game in the AFCON2023 qualifier. The Super Eagles are the dominant side after scoring the first goal in the ninth minute. They also had a couple of chances to score the Sao Tome goalkeeper has been very brilliant in stopping them from scoring more goals. There are precisely the three best players in the first half.
1. Oghenekaro Etebo
Jose Peseiro subbed him in against Sierra Leone in the second half, he must have been impressed with his performance in that game. 3. Victor Osimhen
You do expect Victor Osimhen to score in any game for Nigeria. His second goal in the competition so far, the goal poacher that Nigeria had missed in this year’s AFCON game.
He scored the first goal, and returned the favor by assisting Simon Moses in a situation where had could have easily scored another goal. He also assisted the third goal in which Terrem Moffi scored with a cool finish. The most threatening player in the first half.
