The Priest who was  present during the Gunmen deadly attack at the Saint Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo state, Reverend Father Andrew Abayomi has given account of what happened at the church when the Gunmen attacked.

According to the report that was shared on the official Instagram page of Galaxy Television News, the Reverend Father said that they were about rounding off the first service when they started hearing gunfire from different angles outside the Church.

The priest said that, moments before the attack started, some people had already left the church, and it was when others were about leaving that the gunmen attacked.

Narrating further, the Reverend Father said that they had to lock themselves inside the church for about 20 minutes before the Gunmen left, and that was when they had to start rushing some of the injured people to the hospital.
