What About This For A Class Room In An Oil Producing Nation Of Nigeria In The 21st century?
By Ebor Cletus Ralph Jr.
The last time I checked, Nigeria is still an oil producing country. Until recently, it ranked the 6th largest oil producing nation, until it was said to have been displaced by Angola due largely, to oil theft believed to be orchestrated by those in government.
Even at that, she still ranked amongst the top ten oil producing nations globally, taking after the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United States of America, Russia, Kuwait, Qatar and others. Note that, these nations are not named in a any particular order.
Most of these nations mentioned above, have been able to maximize the gains of their oil endowment to the benefit of their people and the growth and development of their nations.
Sadly, in the case of Nigeria, it appears to be a curse. The general feeling points to the conclusion that, Nigeria would perhaps, have been better without this natural gift.
This video is pointer…imagine this school in Nigeria, precisely, in Ogun state, in the 21st century! Besides the overcrowded class, is the laughable state of the class room. What is the position of the state government where this school is domiciled? What is the relevant ministry and agencies doing about it?
Note that, what you find here is only a tip of the iceberg, as several other worse case of decay abound in every nooks and crannies of the country.
