Usyk Triumphs Over Fury in Heavyweight Title Rematch

Oleksandr Usyk claimed victory in his heavyweight title rematch against Tyson Fury on Saturday night, winning by unanimous decision to maintain his unbeaten record across two weight classes and reinforce his status as one of boxing’s all-time greats.

The Ukrainian boxer dictated the tempo of the fight, consistently landing sharp left hooks on Fury. The judges unanimously scored the bout 116-112 in Usyk’s favor, handing Fury his second consecutive loss.

This triumph improves Usyk’s record to 23-0 with 14 knockouts, adding another chapter to an illustrious career that already features an Olympic gold medal and the title of undisputed cruiserweight champion.

Seven months ago, by triumphing over Fury, “The Cat” secured his place among boxing legends such as Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis, and Mike Tyson as an undisputed heavyweight champion—and the first to do so in the four-belt era.
